CaseClarity is a local-first macOS legal drafting workspace. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information the App Uses

Case and Evidence Data

CaseClarity lets you create case folders, import user-selected files, extract evidence text, draft documents, manage deadlines, and save local workflow state.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe, purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store.

Local Preferences

CaseClarity stores settings such as onboarding completion, selected case type, selected case folder, saved filing profile, and redaction/export preferences locally using macOS app storage.

Third-Party Services

CaseClarity uses Apple StoreKit for subscriptions and App Store purchase restoration. Apple’s handling of App Store account and payment information is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

Security

CaseClarity uses the macOS App Sandbox and user-selected file access. The app is designed to operate without network entitlements for normal drafting workflows.

Children’s Privacy

CaseClarity is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. Updates will be reflected by changing the “Last Updated” date.
