Terms of Service for CaseClarity
Last updated: May 17, 2026
By downloading, installing, subscribing to, or using CaseClarity, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What CaseClarity Does
CaseClarity is a macOS app for organizing legal matter files, extracting evidence signals from user-selected documents, tracking workflow steps, and drafting legal document starting points.
Not Legal Advice
CaseClarity does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm.
- Drafts, checklists, extracted facts, deadline notes, strategy prompts, and filing-readiness warnings are informational starting points only.
- Use of the app does not create an attorney-client relationship.
- Laws, court rules, deadlines, and filing requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time.
- You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, and deciding whether to use any output.
- You should consult a qualified attorney before filing, sending, or relying on legal documents.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Review all drafts and extracted evidence before use.
- Confirm deadlines, court rules, addresses, parties, and legal requirements independently.
- Use the app only for lawful purposes.
- Keep backups of important files and exported documents.
Subscriptions and Billing
Paid features are offered through auto-renewable App Store subscriptions.
- Available plans are configured in App Store Connect and may include monthly and annual Core or Elite subscriptions.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through Apple before renewal.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple.
- CaseClarity may change available plans or pricing in accordance with App Store rules.
Local Data
CaseClarity stores case data locally on your Mac. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device, exported documents, and backups.
No Warranties
CaseClarity is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that drafts are complete, legally sufficient, accepted by any court, or suitable for your situation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CaseClarity and its developers are not liable for legal, financial, procedural, or other consequences arising from your use of the app, drafts, exports, evidence summaries, deadlines, or workflow suggestions.
Intellectual Property
CaseClarity, its interface, templates, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.
Documents you create or export with your own case information are yours, subject to these terms and any rights belonging to third parties.
Apple Terms
If you downloaded CaseClarity from the App Store, Apple’s App Store terms also apply. Apple is not responsible for CaseClarity’s content, support, or legal-document outputs.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the updated terms.
